Frequently
asked questions about virtual assistants
Virtual service providers are highly qualified entrepreneurs, whose extensive
experience, knowledge and organizational skills play an invaluable role in
improving their clients' efficiency, productivity and profits. Their overheads
are minimal, enabling them to provide high-quality services at very competitive
rates, using the Internet technology to communicate with their clients.
Step 1
When you are ready to start with your project, contact
me either by phone or e-mail and as soon as possible, depending on your
location and time zone, I will call you to discuss your project. I will talk
about your business history, how you got started and what you did to get where
you are, then we will discuss how your new project needs to fit into your master
plan.
Step 2
Once we get to know each other and I have a clear picture of what you need,
I will calculate the anticipated amount of time it will take for me to complete
your project and I will email you an estimate. I will also send you a
Service Agreement to sign - this is a simple formality to protect each
other's rights. This marks the beginning of a successful virtual business
relationship.
Step 3
As soon as I receive your signed Service Agreement and your deposit,
I will begin to work
on your project and communicate / submit projects via e-mail, unless requested
otherwise. From that point on, you will be able to
send your work requests to us in any way you choose, usually by e-mail
or fax. You can also upload your files through our
upload facility.
If a project includes a lot of printed back-up material, you may want to send it
via courier or express mail. If your work involves routine tasks, all you have
to do is send us an e-mail or pick up the phone and call us with your requests.
You will receive an invoice at the end of every month for work completed.
Did you know that the real cost of hiring full time employees is 2 - 2½ times
their salary? If you choose to hire a part-time or full-time employee instead of
working
with an off-site virtual associate, you will soon realise that your costs and
obligations increase considerably. Here is a comparison table showing the costs
of hiring a full-time permanent executive assistant VS working with a virtual
assistant.
